Pentecost is here! Originally the Jewish festival celebrating the giving of the law to Moses (50 days after Passover), the Christian celebration of Pentecost centers on the sending of the Holy Spirit to the early church. Pentecost is the longest season of the church year, lasting from 8 weeks after Easter until Christ the King Sunday (the Sunday before the start of Advent). The season of Pentecost is the heart of the church year. During this time we really concentrate on what it means to be a church led by the Holy Spirit. Join us this Pentecost season and discover where the Holy Spirit is already at work in your life.
Discover his Plan! Discover His purpose! In this summer's VBS, Camp Discovery, the theme is "Jesus is at work through us". The children will explore five tree-mendous stories where God works in His people to save them, and through His people to serve.
Registration is open for ages 3 through those entering 5th grade. The cost will be $15 per child. For 3 or more children, the price is $40 for a family.
Kids meet friends, explore stories from the Bible, do activities, sing songs, make crafts, play games and eat fun snacks.
