Come and See: "Son"-Rise Service

Come and See as we celebrate the Resurrection with our first ever "Son"-Rise Service.  Join us at 7:00 AM April 5 (The Day of Resurrection, Easter) for a simple, joy-filled, out-door service that will evoke the feelings of the early church.  Please dress appropriately for the early hour gathering outside, as the weather may be chilly.  This will be a communion service.  All are welcome at the table.  Come and See the "Son-rise!" with us.

Come and See: Holy Week

Come and See the journey to the cross this Holy Week.

  • Begin the journey on The Sunday of the Passion/Palm Sunday, March 29.  All three of our weekend services will include a procession with palms and the reading of the Passion according to Mark.
  • Join us as we travel to Trinity Lutheran Church in Kirkwood, MO for our Maundy Thursday service.  The service begins at 7:00 PM.  See for more details.
  • Drop by the church between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on April 3, Good Friday, for our day-long prayer vigil.  The sanctuary will be open for anyone wishing to come and pray.
  • Worship with us here on Good Friday at 7:00 PM for a Service of Shadows.  This service is a joint service with Trinity Lutheran in Kirkwood.

Come and See: Easter Sunday

Come and See to celebrate the Resurrection with us this Easter.

  • Start the morning with our "Son"-rise service (see above for details).
  • Join us at 8:30 for our free breakfast sponsored by our congregation's youth.
  • Worship with us at 10:00 AM.  This service will be a traditional, celebration Eucharist.  You will not want to miss it!

Come and See: Lent--It's Awe-full!

Come and See what faith is all about this Lenten Season.  During these forty days, we will be exploring the awe-filled life of faith, learning how to articulate what we believe and ultimately share the gospel message with others.  Each Wednesday evening in Lent you are invited to join us for soup at 6:00 PM and then for a brief service at 7:00 PM, where we will explore what we are called to be as the church in the world.  On Sunday mornings we will hear challenging stories that help us to learn more about God'a amazing love for us.  These stories show how God can move us from being awful to being awe-full.  Come and see!

Lenten Suppers to Support Outreach

Each Wednesday in Lent at 6:00 pm before the Lenten Service a variety of delicious soups will be prepared and served by various church committees. The free-will offering for each week is designated for Social Ministry Outreach support, especially local projects of International Partners in Mission (IPM). Find out more about the IPM Projects.

ELCA Central States Synod Continues to Work for Lasting Changes in STL

The ELCA churches of St. Louis and the Central States Synod are continuting to work to affect lasting change in the city.  As we continue to struggle with the systemic issues, we pray for your continued understanding and support.  No change can be made without first forging relationships; we hope and pray that we can continue to build these relationships.
